After months of Mariah Copeland sighing, fretting, and pouting after having to give Dominic to his parents, Tessa Porter has agreed that the two of them should have a baby of their own on The Young and the Restless.
Adopting A Young and the Restless Baby
The only question that remains now is when…and how they should do it. What almost 2,000 Y&R fans are thinking:
Helping Hand
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) suggested that she and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) adopt so they could give a needy child the kind of happy home that neither one grew up in, and 65% of you stan that plan. Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) turned down that option for a much more convoluted plan. And look how that turned out.
The Young and the Restless: Both of Us
In order for the baby to be biologically related to both of them, 20% of the audience suggests that Tessa carry the baby. And Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) be the sperm donor. He’s Mariah’s half-brother, so it’s a win-win for all. And we’re sure Noah will have no problem with the plan. Look how great everything is working out for Abby…and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Do Over
Mariah is missing Bowinic, which is why 8% of voters insist that she should be the one to carry her and Tessa’s baby. This is obviously a replacement baby, so let’s stop pretending otherwise. Mariah needs to get pregnant again, give birth again, and, this time, she needs to be able to keep the child she gives birth to. Otherwise, what’s the point?
No Young and the Restless Relation
Finally, only 7% want Tessa to carry the baby and for them to use an anonymous sperm donor. That way, the baby will have no biological relation to Mariah at all, and Tessa can forever hold that over her head. The next time Mariah starts to get distant and push Tessa away, her significant other can just use the baby to reel her back in.
