The Young and the Restless recap for March 8-12, 2021, features a contest for Ashland Locke’s property, a shock collapse, a declaration of lingering affection, and a percolating scheme.
The fearsome Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) arrived in Genoa City and entertained business proposals from Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam (Mark Grossman), Lily (Christel Khalil) and Billy (Jason Thompson), Victoria (Amelia Heinle)…and possibly a fourth interested party.
Meanwhile, his equally shrewd wife was wined and dinned – or, at the very least, caffeinated – by Sally (Courtney Hope), who took great delight in throwing that fact into Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) face. Perhaps now he’ll back off and allow her relationship with Jack (Peter Bergman) to blossom.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) finally wears Sharon (Sharon Chase) down, and she agrees to join him in couple’s counseling. The first session goes about as well as can be expected – hurtful accusations are hurled, feelings are dismissed, excuses are made, and there’s lots and lots of crying. Afterward, a disorientated Rey slips into unconsciousness!
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) still wants Devon (Bryton James). Devon still wants Elena. And both of them agree that they don’t want to hurt Amanda (Mishael Morgan), Nate (Sean Dominic), or themselves by getting back together. However, they do decide to make love on Devon’s couch.
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) continues to ponder who her secret champion is, and when they reach out for a second time, she manages to deduce that they’re male. Then she makes the oh-so-logical choice to ask for a face-to-face meeting.
Billy insisted on confronting Victoria over her interest in Ashland’s media company, and her insistence that she’s only going after it to protect Billy from Victor. He revealed that his feelings were hurt, and Victoria, in turn, apologized and revealed that she still loved him!
Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) condition continues to rapidly improve…though she only fills Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) in on that little detail. Chloe promises to support her bestie, and participate in her revenge scheme, but only on the proviso that no one will be irrevocably harmed.
Chelsea agreed though she didn’t actually seem sincere when doing so. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
