The General Hospital recap for March 8-12, 2021, features a shocking death, an accusation hurled, and a decades-old affair coming out into the open.

General Hospital Recaps Highlight

After employing some mental torture, Franco (Roger Howarth) managed to extract a full confession from Peter August (Wes Ramsey). But before he could send it to the authorities, Franco was ambushed by his hostage and shot in the chest!

Peter managed to erase the recording and make his escape, seconds before Jason (Steve Burton) arrived on the scene. He was followed close behind by Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who wound up accusing him of being her husband’s executioner.

And while the PCPD attempted to get to the bottom of the case, Peter attempted to worm his way back into Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) good graces. And though it seemed he had succeeded in convincing her to flee Port Charles with him, Peter was eventually crushed when Maxie insisted that the man she had fallen in love with simply did not exist.

Tell The Truth, And Shame The Devil

After continuing to eavesdrop on Finn (Michael Easton) and Jackie’s (Kim Delaney) conversation, Gregory (Gregory Harrison) confronted the pair and demanded a complete account of what transpired between them the night before his and Jackie’s wedding.

Color him shocked to learn not only about the affair but of the question surrounding Chase’s (Josh Swickard) paternity. Gregory then insisted that Finn pick up the results of the DNA test and put them all out of their collective misery.

The next day, after engaging in a heart-to-heart with Anna (Finola Hughes), Jackie decided to level with Chase and loop him in on recent developments. Unsurprisingly, he did not thank her for her honesty that came decades too late.

The Gambler

After learning that a cash-strapped Lenny (Rif Hutton) and Phyllis (Joyce Guy) might lose The Tan-o, “Mike” (Maurice Benard) took it upon himself to save the day…and the business.

And he succeeded – even if he did have to take a beating doled out by the man he bested at poker. “Mike’s” actions earned him Lenny and Phyllis’s undying gratitude…and the scorn of a hotshot developer who had plans for the property.
