The Young and the Restless recaps for April 26-30, 2021, features yet another medical crisis for Faith, good news for the Abbott family, and more.
The Young and the Restless Recaps Highlight
Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) shocking collapse at Crimson Lights results in her admittance to the hospital. After extensive testing, Nate (Sean Dominic) is able to explain that her body has begun to wage a war against itself and that Faith’s kidneys are taking the brunt of the battle.
The immediate hope is that a round of antibiotics and steroids will cure the problem…but worst-case scenario, Faith will need a kidney transplant. And thanks to her ultra-rare blood type, potential donors are whittled away until only Adam (Mark Grossman) remains!
Sharon (Sharon Chase) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) then turn their attention to locating the errant miscreant, and thanks to Victor (Eric Braeden), they narrow down the search to the Montalvo farm in Kansas.
Change of Heart
According to Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), whom Summer (Hunter King) insists is untrustworthy, Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) near-death experience has changed him for the better. And to prove his sincerity, Ashland rights the wrongs that he inflicted on the Abbott family – and their business interests.
The turn of events greatly surprises Kyle (Michael Mealor), as does Tara’s gesture of gifting him a photograph of Harrison.
Sister Act
Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) darkened Amanda’s (temporary recast Karla Mosley) door and claimed that she’d come to warn her sister about their devious grandfather. But Amanda has Imani’s number. She knows that Imani is actually trying to frighten away her main competition for Sutton’s (Jack Landron) love, respect, and cash!
Letting the Evidence Speak For Itself
Despite his desire to think otherwise, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) can’t help but conclude that Adam is indeed being forced to play patsy for a crime that his wife committed.
Kiss and Makeup
Business, personal ethics, the company they keep; if Lily (Christel Khalil) and Billy (Jason Thompson) can find a topic to argue over, they’ll do it. Their latest crises came in the shape of Tara Locke, but Billy managed to get himself out of the doghouse by saying three magical words: “I. Was. Wrong!” Let the intimacy commence!
Pick Up Where They Left Off
Sally (Courtney Hope) insisted to both Summer and Jack that she’s in love with the senior Abbott. So, cards on the table, is there any way that Jack can forgive her and agree to continue seeing where life will take them? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
