The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, December 28, 2020, winds down the old year with old arguments, as Nick keeps accusing Victoria of the same old thing, Phyllis and Chloe want Kevin and Chelsea to go back to their old ways, Amanda refuses to forget the old days, and Sharon and Rey ponder the new.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Nick (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t like that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) outsmarted Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) in business. This makes Phyllis cranky, which makes Nick cranky, so he chastises his sister, telling her that she was acting – let’s all say it together now he’s made the point so many times previously – like Victor (Eric Braeden).
Nick reminds that Victoria does evil things with money, while Nick does good things – with money that Victor and Victoria presumably made evil-y.
Keep Your Friends Close
Chloe (Elizabeth Henrickson) wants Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to start a new design company with her. Phyllis wants Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to admit that he still feels like a pariah in Genoa City. And speaking of pariahs, how’s Gloria (Judith Chapman)?
On Track
Adam (Mark Grossman) thanks Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for arresting the person who tried to shoot him. Though if Rey wants to arrest Billy (Jason Thompson) for some other crime, Adam would support it!
Later, Rey and Sharon (Sharon Case) discuss how excited they both are about their upcoming wedding, as the ghost of Adam infests every corner. Meanwhile, the ghost of Sharon hangs over Adam and Chelsea. Chelsea somehow blames Sharon for getting married the night before Chelsea has brain surgery.
Mother Lode
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) rants about how angry she is with her birth mother, Naya. Devon (Bryton James) invokes Hilary to subtly make it clear to Amanda that she is reacting incorrectly – i.e. how Devon knows Hilary would have. Amanda calls Naya, but can’t speak and hangs up. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
