The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, October 28, 2020, features fantasies, as Abby imagines what life might be like with a police detective, Summer imagines Kyle reverting to old habits, and Elena imagines Nate having feelings for her – and Elena reciprocating.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
One minute, Abby (Melissa Ordway) is planning to have a baby with Chance and telling him that, of course, he’ll make a wonderful detective – no matter how many skeletons he helped Adam (Mark Grossman) hide in his closet. The next minute, as soon as it becomes extremely possible that Chance (Donny Boaz) will, in fact, get that job, Abby starts to worry about what life might be like as a police widow – literally.
She worries that Chance will get hurt, she worries that she’ll waste her life sitting around, waiting for him. She worries that Adam will plant bombs at Victor’s (Eric Braeden) birthday party and Chance will feel compelled to come to her rescue. Where was all this concern, oh, 24 hours ago?
Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) does offer Chance the job – but it comes with a probationary period.
Ping Pong
Yesterday, Kyle (Michael Mealor) was telling Summer (Hunter King) she is the only woman he ever has – or ever will – love. Today, after Lola (Sasha Calle) apologizes for heckling him and Summer the other night, Summer imagines him and Lola stripping down in the middle of Society.
Secret Lover
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) imagines she sees Nate (Sean Dominic) at the park, and he tells her he has feelings for her. Elena wonders if this means she secretly also has feelings for him. But when Amanda (Mishael Morgan) tries to apologize to Elena, Elena insists that Devon is the love of her life and she will win him back. Amanda thinks the lady doth protest too much.
