The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, February 3, 2021, shines the spotlight on Victoria as she wonders where she sold short instead of long term investing. Billy. She’s talking about Billy. Victoria has come to the realization that Billy has finally grown up. Just in time for Lily to reap the benefits of that newfound maturity.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) expressed her concerns to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Nikki admitted that while she may have married the same man more times than there are numbers, she doesn’t want Victoria to do the same. Victoria deserves someone kind and good, who respects and appreciates her strengths and weaknesses. You know, how Victor (Eric Braeden) loves and respects Nikki. It’s why they’ve been divorced so many times.
Nikki also advises Victoria to forget writing a state of Newman Enterprises report, and focus on the state of Victoria Newman, instead. Victoria doesn’t seem enthused by the idea.
The Man Who Got Away
Earlier, Victoria called Billy (Jason Thompson) after Johnny had a nightmare. Then, when she ran into him and Lily (Christel Khalil) at Society, she was snippy with both.
Billy texted Victoria to try and smooth things over, but she dismissed him, claiming she overreacted. Billy first lied to Lily about it, then came clean. They walked off hand in hand.
Victoria went ahead and started filming a video about what Newman Enterprises employees can expect for 2021. But she kept getting distracted, staring at a photo of herself and Billy, then breaking down and admitting that she’s lonely and doesn’t know what to do with herself. She misses being part of a couple, she misses having a partner. She misses being loved.
It’s all very honest, authentic, and moving. But we’re not really sure if the Newman employees and stockholders need to know that. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
