The Young and the Restless Recap: Victoria and Ashland Finally Tie the Knot

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, October 15, 2021, which was repeated on Thanksgiving — November 25, 2021 — finally gives viewers the wedding we’ve been waiting for! Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke said I do – and nobody spoke to object. Of course, that was thanks to Adam Newman and Nicholas Newman. Meanwhile, Victoria’s dress was the talk of the party!

Nick (Joshua Morrow) stumbled over Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) and made a snap decision: To protect his sister, he locked Jesse in his room for the duration of the ceremony. Nick told Adam (Mark Grossman) to put on extra security, but Adam made a snap decision and decided to keep things low-key.

Jesse stayed in his place. But Nick and Adam made the rookie mistake of not taking away his phone. Jesse sent a video to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) where he exposed all of Ashland’s sins.

Jesse told Billy and Lily they had an hour to either publish it on their site – Billy did pay Jesse a duffle bag full of money – or he’d post it himself and they’d lose the scoop. Billy and Lily were still trying to make up their minds…when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) arrived to confront Jesse.

Here They Come, Those Beautiful Girls

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) walked down the aisle in the dress Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) designed and snuck into Victoria’s closet. Everyone oohed and ahhed and wondered where it came from, including Lily and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), while a happy Sally eavesdropped. Summer Newman (Hunter King) was very enthused – until Victoria told her the truth.

Victoria and Ashland (Richard Burgi) exchanged vows without a hitch, and then Victoria went to tell Sally that while she didn’t approve of her methods, she did love the dress. So, mission accomplished!
