The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 14, 2020, features Adam crowing about his successful takeover, as Victor refuses to answer Nikki’s questions about why he folded. Plus, Nick gets the details from Victoria, and Lily has a proposition for Amanda.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) reminds Adam (Mark Grossman) how wonderful he is for wrenching control of Newman Enterprises from Victor (Eric Braeden) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Adam had a split second where he wondered if it might not have been better for Victor to hand over the reins voluntarily, but Chelsea dismisses with more praise.
Adam held a press conference so that the rest of the world could praise him. As Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) watched, she peppered Victor with questions about why he agreed to Adam’s demands when he didn’t kill AJ. Victor was even more close-mouthed than usual. Later, he remembered seeing a dead AJ in a barn.
My Sister’s Keeper
Nick (Joshua Morrow) spent most of the morning in bed with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and only made it out to catch Adam’s TV debut. He headed over to Victoria’s for answers. She swore she could take care of this herself. Unable to find an outlet for his fury, Nick headed over to Adam’s.
Meanwhile, Phyllis and Chelsea squabbled about which one of them has hurt Nick the most. It’s a pretty close contest.
Working For a Living
Lily (Christel Khalil) asked Amanda (Mishael Morgan) for some free legal advice, then offered her a job with her and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) new division. Amanda mentioned that Devon (Bryton James) offered her a job, too. Have they finally forgiven her for daring to look like Hilary?
Lily floated the idea of hiring Amanda to Billy. She knew there’s history. He was cool with it. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
