The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, February 8, 2021, features Victor calling his children for a meeting where he promises not to tell them how to live their lives – much. Plus, Theo and Sally drop a bombshell on Kyle, and Johnny has a question for Billy and Lily.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor’s (Eric Braeden) children are having a variety of problems. He calls the three who are still speaking to him for a meeting. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) cautions him to do more listening than talking. Yeah, yeah, sure, Victor is totally going to do that.
First, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) snipe a bit over Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Then Abby (Melissa Ordway) shows up to announce that she and Chance (Donny Boaz) are having a baby – with donor sperm and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) uterus. She, of course, mentions how it’s all thanks to Victor. Victor nods sagely, accepting any and all kudos.
Next Up
Johnny has a fun day with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil). He wants to know if Lily is Daddy’s new girlfriend. Yup, Lily says. Though she’d never want to keep him from his Daddy. Johnny is fine with that, but he wants to know if that means Daddy and Mommy will never get back together again. How many break up has this kid lived through already? Shouldn’t he know by now that it never means that at all?
Love Child
Theo (Tyler Johnson) lets Kyle (Michael Mealor) know that he filled Sally (Courtney Hope) in on the affair Kyle had with a married woman – and her subsequent child. Sally is perfectly happy to keep Kyle’s secret – as long as Kyle keeps hers.
Kyle completely freaks out, turns into a babbling mess, and goes running to Summer (Hunter King). Will she take the news with the same levelheaded maturity she’s been exhibiting up to now? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
