The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, March 23, 2020, features Adam and Chelsea going after what they want with no thought to who it will hurt, and Phyllis giving Amanda personal and professional advice – because her life is going so well.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
What should Amanda (Mishael Morgan) do with her life now that she is no longer considered the evilest person in Genoa City for doing her job? She thinks she might like to be in-house counsel, somewhere, but Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) can’t think of a company that isn’t Newman Enterprises – and Amanda can’t go work there since they blame her for Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) stabbing.
So, instead, Phyllis gave Amanda advice about her personal life, and suggested Nate (Sean Dominic). Then, Nate stopped by to tell Amanda that Jared, the kid she bonded with over foster care woes, is in jail.
Adam: Looking Out For Number One
Adam (Mark Grossman) did some digging and learned that his stepfather, Cliff, may have owed money to Alyssa’s loan shark dad, AJ. Or, at least, that what he assumed since that’s the bulk of Adam’s detective work up to this point. Cliff was hit by a car and killed and Adam wondered if AJ was responsible.
Adam asked Alyssa to investigate, and was shocked when the woman didn’t leap at the chance to taint her dead dad’s name even further. Later, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) let it slip to Alyssa that Adam thinks Victor (Eric Braeden) may have killed AJ, which would make her dad a victim.
Alyssa vowed to get to the bottom of it. Adam and Chelsea discussed how well they played a person he claimed to care about. Chelsea did not see any warning signs, there. Meanwhile, back at the ranch (literally), Victor looked at a file about Cliff and AJ’s deaths. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
