The Young and the Restless Recap: Summer Kisses Kyle

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, January 27, 2020 features CBS sneaking in some story around the news breaks with Summer coming onto Kyle as Mariah warned Theo to stay away from Lola.

Also, Abby urged Chance to see what Phyllis is offering. Meanwhile, Victoria lamented about her marriage to Nick, while Billy did the same to Amanda… only someone wasn’t buying.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

After Mariah (Camryn Grimes) learned from Abby (Melissa Ordway) that she encouraged Chance (Donny Boaz) to encourage Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) flirtations in the hopes of finding out what she’s after, Mariah stomped over to warn Theo (Tyler Johnson) off flirting with Lola (Sasha Calle).

Theo wondered why Mariah wasn’t putting all this energy into her own relationship — isn’t Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) on the road with her ex-husband. Mariah was deeply offended — her personal life is none of Theo’s business. But his is hers? Okey-dokey. Theo blew the redhead off.

Celebration

Further west in San Francisco, Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) celebrated an off-camera business triumph with burgers… plus a kiss. Summer initiated and then apologizes. Kyle assured that it’s cool, they’re still friends… but he loves his wife.

Victoria and Billy: Shoulders To Cry On

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) confessed to Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Billy (Jason Thompson) wanted her to accept his never being satisfied. She’s also supposed to accept that he quit therapy and is fine now. She admitted that if she can’t, she’ll have to cut Billy loose.

Billy whined about his wife not understanding him to Amanda (Mishael Morgan), but she is done with being the third wheel in someone else’s relationship. She feels used and she’s tired of it. Amanda cut Billy loose as well… as someone secretly took pictures of them talking. Is Amanda’s past finally catching up with her? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
