The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, January 28, 2020, reveal a day of manipulations and confrontations.
Two exes are at the end of their ropes… though not with each other. Phyllis feels thwarted in her plan to find out what Chance and Adam are hiding – from her specifically, it would seem – while Nick puts his foot down about just how flexible he intends to be.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) feels that she has lost everything. Her control of The Grand Pheonix is gone. Billy (Jason Thompson) doesn’t love her, Nick (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t want her, and the guy she thought was her friend, Adam (Mark Grossman), wanted to pimp her out.
So Phyllis’ plan is to get everything back. She’ll figure out what Adam and Chance (Danny Boaz) are hiding about their mutual sojourns in Las Vegas — and if that pisses off Abby (Melissa Ordway), so much the better — and this will somehow get Phyllis her hotel back — and if that pisses off Abby, so much the better.

Nick is also angry. Not so much at Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) for leaving him for Adam — after all, Nick told her to. Silly little woman wasn’t capable of making up her own mind.
