The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, November 20, 2020, continues with the obsessive focus on Adam, as Victor brings a cop – and Sharon – to lock his son up, Chelsea and Chloe battle it out over the man of the hour, and Devon explains to Nate how he committed the crime of the century.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) tells Adam (Mark Grossman) that his behavior has made it clear to Victor that his son needs professional help. He’s got papers to commit Adam to a mental institution. Oh, and here’s Sharon (Sharon Case) to explain it all to him.
Victor chickens out and steps into the hallway with a cop he brought along to make sure his wishes are obeyed. Oh, and he also tells Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) that it’s better if Adam believes this wasn’t initiated by Victor, but by Rey, who wants Adam away from Sharon. Better for Victor, that is.
Adam attempts to make a run for it, but he is somehow stopped by the world’s slowest and least observant cop. By the end of the episode, he’s in an asylum. Thanks, Dad!
My Man
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) she is considering doing what Adam asked, and leaving town with him for good. Chloe thinks that’s a truly terrible idea. Chelsea doesn’t care and says she is willing to sacrifice their friendship for Adam. The man who, a week ago, she was asking for police protection from. Chelsea goes to Adam’s. He’s not there. See, asylum, above.
Bad Bromance
Nate (Sean Dominic) notes that an apology on both their sides won’t heal his hand. Which is good, since Devon (Bryton James) makes it clear he won’t be offering any apologies. Nate needs to understand that sleeping with Devon’s girlfriend is the worst thing any man can do to another man, much less a relative, says Devon, who slept with his dad’s wife.
Later, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) suggests Nate ask her out. She’ll say yes! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
