On the Young and the Restless, Elena is making it tough for viewers to figure her out. On the one hand, she claims Devon is the love of her life. On the other, she slept with Nate. For no reason that anyone could see.

Now, she just swore to Amanda that she will get Devon back. But is she really in love with the guy, or has this just become a matter of principle – and spiting Amanda (Mishael Morgan)? Over 3,000 fans gave us their two cents:

It was much closer than expected, as only 52% of you are convinced Elena (Brytni Sarpy) truly loves Devon (Bryton James) – or even know what the word means. Women who are head over heels in love with their partner don’t just – well, we can’t say jumped into bed, because there was no bed, and the shadow puppets on the wall didn’t make it clear whether Elena and Nate (Sean Dominic) used the recently cleared examining table, or the equally less than sterile floor.

Mixed Messages
A slightly smaller 48% of the audience, however, think Elena needs to do some serious soul-searching. Maybe it’s Nate that she actually has genuine feelings for, and she just used the excuse of ‘hey, we stopped a runaway from overdosing’ to do what she’s actually been aching to do for a while.
Maybe she and Devon will get back together someday. But first, Elena needs to figure out who she really wants and what she really feels. No matter what Amanda makes her want to do. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
