The Young and the Restless Recap December 29 2020
The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, December 29 finds Sally using the truth to her advantage, Faith lying, Abby and Chance spinning in place, and Rey putting Sharon on the spot.
Sally (Courtney Hope) tells the truth about Theo (Tyler Johnson) wanting her to spy on the Abbots for him, and Summer (Hunter King) taking an instant dislike to her because of things Theo said. She even manages to get Jack (Peter Bergman) over to her side. Jack apologizes for Theo and promises to talk to Summer, and Sally is on top of the world. We’ll see how long that lasts.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) tries to connect with Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) friend, Jordan, but the-too-busy-texting-to-even-look-up teen dismisses that Mariah can’t possibly understand what kind of pressure kids today are under.
They have to go to school, keep their grades up, worry about popularity… all issues that never concerned previous generations. Embarrassed by how cool her friend is and how not cool she is, Faith pours some alcohol into a water bottle. This will prove how awesome she is to everyone!
Chance (Donny Boaz) tells Billy (Jason Thompson) he’d rather not be the subject of a profile on how heroic he is, then Chance and Abby (Melissa Ordway) go back to all baby talk, all the time.
Their obsession rubs off on Lily (Christel Khalil), who asks Billy if he wants to have more kids. Nah, Billy says, Johnny and Katie are enough for him. Cool, cool, cool, says a relieved Lily.
Nate (Sean Dominic) rents a hotel room for him and Elena (Brytni Sarpy). He says they can just order room service, watch TV, and fall asleep if she wants. She doesn’t want any of it and leaves.
