The Young and the Restless Recap: Sally Must Have An Ulterior Motive

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 20, 2021, finds Sharon Rosales figuring she knows why Sally Spectra is talking to Connor Newman, while Rey Rosales wonders why she’s so invested. Plus, Devon Hamilton admits he’s having second thoughts to Amanda Sinclair, and Abby Chancellor and Mariah Copeland navigate their new normal.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is furious that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) told Connor (Judah Mackey) his mom and dad weren’t getting back together without her, but she’s grateful that Connor said Sally (Courtney Hope) cheered him up. Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) warned Chelsea to be wary of Sally – the woman Chloe had to talk Adam into hiring.

Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) is reaching out to Connor, but he only lights up when Sally shows up. Sharon tells Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) that she’s sure Sally is only using Connor to get to Adam – she’s known for that. Rey asks if Adam seems to be interested. Sharon says he claims he isn’t. Why then, Rey wonders, is she so concerned then?

Y&R Recap: Father’s Day

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) moves out of Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) house and thanks Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) for supporting Mariah through her grief. Abby murmurs to Dominic about how much Mariah loves him, but refrains from calling her son’s birth mother, to give Mariah her space. Mariah doesn’t want space. Mariah wants to have another baby – with Tessa.

At the same time, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) notes that Devon (Bryton James) is so concerned about Abby and Mariah’s mental health, but he isn’t saying anything about his own feelings. Devon admits he feels bad that he can’t be Dominic’s daddy. Oh, and this is totally not him trying to distract himself, but would Amanda like to move in with him?
