The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 23 picks up after the madness ceases with Sally taunting Kyle about his past, Adam wondering who might be trying to frame him, and Rey getting a shocking diagnosis.
Jack (Peter Bergman) tries to get Kyle (Michael Mealor) to confide in him about why he’s been so distracted lately. Despite his father having seen pretty much every situation over his life, Kyle blows Jack off.
But Sally (Courtney Hope), who knows why Kyle has been so distracted lately, pushes Kyle to admit that he’s been wondering what life might be like with a suddenly single Tara (Elizabeth Leiner)… and their son. Kyle dismisses, but, later, he gets a call from Locke, himself.
Meanwhile, Jack finally demands to know what Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has been so hot to tell him about Sally. Phyllis says, “Uh, never mind.” So Jack wonders if Summer told Phyllis what’s going on with Kyle. “Nothing,” Phyllis says. Then Sally calls Jack away.
Adam (Mark Grossman) realized that somebody has been sending texts to Sharon (Sharon Case) from his phone. He confessed all to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and then assumed his phone has been hacked by somebody who knows he and Sharon used to be a thing.
Adam suspects Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and questions Chelsea, even wondering if she might be behind it, but Chelsea plays dumb – literally. Chelsea, as per her voiceover, is planning to continue fooling her fiancé, then grabbing Conner (Judah Mackey) and running.
Nate (Sean Dominic) thinks Elena (Brytni Sarpy) wants to talk about his dumping her, but she actually wants to discuss Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) diagnosis. They both realize he was poisoned.
Sharon is incensed and demands to know how this could have happened! Nate prepares an anecdote. Sharon orders Rey to hold on and recover! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
