The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 13, 2020, finds Sharon telling her daughters about her engagement while Rey gets to know Chance. Lily apologizes to Amanda, and Devon gives Nate relationship advice.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Sharon (Sharon Case) tells Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) that she and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) are getting married. The girls try to sound enthusiastic, but what they really want to know is the results of their mom’s tests. Mariah wonders if Sharon is trying to distract them with wedding news.
At the same time, Rey is welcoming Chance (Donny Boaz) to the Genoa City Police Force – even though Paul (Doug Davidson) said they’ll have to investigate what happened in Las Vegas first.
And Abby (Melissa Ordway) is telling Ashley (Eileen Davidson) she’s thinking of starting a family – with Chance. Abby tells Chance she’s sure he’ll get through the inquiry just fine. After all, they’re rich. Rich people can make all sorts of problems go away.

Endless Love
Devon (Bryton James) is worried about Elena (Brytni Sarpy). He thinks she’s hiding something. Does Nate (Sean Dominic) know what it might be? Nate shrugs. Devon assumes Elena is still worried about him spending time with Amanda (Mishael Morgan). Devon also tells Nate he should keep pursuing Amanda.
Nate tells Elena what happened, and she cries that she can’t keep lying to Devon. She should tell him everything! But, as usual, she’s just talking. She doesn’t have the guts.
Finally, Lily (Christel Khalil) wants to talk to Amanda about Hilary – you know, the sister Lily killed? Lily understands if Amanda can’t be friends with Lily anymore. Were Amanda and Lily ever friends?
Weren’t they, at best, employer and employee? Amanda isn’t sure if she wants to keep working for Lily. She has to be loyal to the sister she never met! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
