On The Young and the Restless, Elena was so upset that her boyfriend, Devon, was spending time with Amanda, his late wife’s long-lost identical twin, that she had sex with Nate, Devon’s cousin who is dating Amanda. Yeah! That’ll show him!

This being a soap opera, we know that Elena’s (Brytni Sarpy) secret won’t remain secret for long. Devon (Bryton James) will find out eventually. And then should he forgive Elena? What over 2,000 voters want to see happen:
Slow and Steady Wins the Race
Well, not right away, 42% of you are just being realistic. Devon needs time to process the betrayal. It’s not like the late Saint Hilary (Mishael Morgan) would have ever done anything this horrible (actually, she did a lot, lot worse, but Devon’s memories of her tend to be selective). You figure he’ll rage and rant and wave his arms around, then get all sad and bitter. And then he’ll forgive her. Because that’s how it worked with Hilary.

Oh Devon — Kick Her To the Curb
A smaller 30% of the audience doesn’t think Devon will ever get over this. Elena was always kind of a backup woman for him, anyway. He was there… she was there… Hilary was dead… why not hook up? He was never all that into her that we can see, so why bend over backward to keep her in his life?
Forgive and Forget
Then again, and almost equal 28% swung in the opposite direction. You think Devon will forgive Elena immediately. Either because he loves her beyond all reason, because he hates being alone, or since he never loved her that much to begin with, he’s isn’t too hurt about her sleeping with Nate (Sean Dominic).
Of course, if as many suspect, there’ll be a baby involved, then that might change everything! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
