The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, February 26 is a case of Phyllis sticking her nose in where it doesn’t belong when it comes to a friendly Jack and Sally, and Rey continuing to be the best husband in the world, while Chloe is a best friend to Chelsea.
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Sally (Courtney Hope) are having such a good time hanging out together that they vow to continue doing it. But what should they call this hanging out? How about… dating? Both agree that they like the idea, but will take it easy and eschew labels for now.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), on the other hand, already knows what to call it. She calls it Sally taking advantage of poor, vulnerable, lonely, still mourning his mother Jack. (This should not be confused with what Phyllis did when she took advantage of Nick while he was married to Sharon and still mourning Cassie. Focus here.)
Nick (Joshua Morrow) wonders why she cares so much? Phyllis says it’s so she can protect Summer (Hunter King) from Evil Sally. But then she admits that Summer isn’t on board. So what could Phyllis’s real motive be? She declines to elaborate, but, later, warns Sally that she is onto her and will be watching!
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) insists he wants to make his marriage to Sharon (Sharon Case) work. He believes she loves him, but they need to get Adam out of her head. How about therapy to get to the bottom of why she seems to be addicted to him?
Meanwhile, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) comes to visit Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and tries to figure out what’s bothering her friend. She asks leading questions about Adam (Mark Grossman). Adam promptly pops up to put a stop to that. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
