The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 1, 2020, features a pretty somber April Fool’s Day with Nick and Phyllis getting back together, Victoria and Billy growing more apart, Sharon insisting on going her own way, and Lola putting a crimp into Theo’s plans.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) wondered if they should try a relationship… again. They agreed the sex is great, the laughter is great, and so is the friendship, but they’ve broken each other’s heart’s before. What if they do it again? Oh, what the hell, let’s have sex on Nick’s desk!
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) summoned Billy (Jason Thompson) to the ranch to tell him they’re done. She isn’t his friend and she won’t let him keep hurting her. They’ll co-parent the kids, and that’s it. “Good-bye, Billy.” Yeah, we’re sure this time it will totally take.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) arrived home to support Sharon (Sharon Case) when she goes for the scan to tell her if her tumor has shrunk or whether she’ll need a mastectomy. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) wants to support her, too. Sharon insisted she’ll go alone, so she can react to the news – good or bad – in private.
Rey was sad that Sharon wouldn’t let him be her rock, and he complained to Lola (Sasha Calle). Lola decided she can’t go away with Theo (Tyler Johnson) to New York City like they planned so she can stay in Genoa City and listen to Rey complain.
Theo was sad. He had to cancel the Broadway show tickets he requested! Ha, ha, Theo, April Fool’s joke on you! All Broadway shows are closed. Also, New York City is kind of closed. And pretty much a warzone. So you’re not missing much. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
