Friendship… not so much. Is there a pair of friends on the canvas you believe would do anything for each other? Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is usually at odds with either Lauren (Tracey Bregman), Michael (Christian J. Le Blanc), or both.
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is NOT here for Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) reunion with Adam (Mark Grossman). And let’s not even start on Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Theo (Tyler Johnson).
Maybe the canvas could use a ride-or-die pair of BFFs. But should they be Lola (Sasha Calle) and Summer (Hunter King)? What almost 6,000 voted:

That would so serve Kyle right, 55% of the audience cheers. What if, thanks to the jerk he’s being about Theo, both Lola and Summer decided he’s not worth either being married to or working with and instead choose to spend time with each other?

It would be way too weird, 45% of The Young and the Restless fans contradict. It’s not just the sharing-a-liver thing. It’s the sharing-the-Kyle thing. Lola is married to him, Summer was married to him…
Plus, remember the fit Lola threw when Kyle bought her an expensive purse for Christmas? If she can barely handle a boyfriend richer than her, no way will she be able to deal with a gal pal.
