The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, October 20, 2021, spends a disproportionate amount of time on who is flying home with whom and who will say goodbye – to people they’re going to see again in the next 24 hours. Also, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin is really, really mad. And she doesn’t even have anywhere to fly or anyone to say goodbye to.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
The Newman family is having breakfast and happily gossiping about the one person who has done worse things than all of them put together – Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) stops by to say goodbye to the happy couple and his grandfather then takes Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) aside to tell her that Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) only wants to say goodbye to her – no one else.
Nikki convinces Nick to speak to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but that doesn’t go well. So Nick stomps off, leaving Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to bum a ride from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). At least Nick says goodbye to her. Wow, think of the waste all of these half-filled private planes are causing. This wedding alone is going to increase carbon emissions and bring on global warming!
Young and the Restless: Next Steps
While Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are trying to figure out where Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) has disappeared to, Victor is telling Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that, once they get back home, they are going to double-down on destroying ChanceComm. That is if Adam wants his daddy to love him…Billy warns Lily that winter is coming.
Dress For Success
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) blames Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for not giving her a head’s up that Victoria would be wearing Sally’s dress, not Lauren’s. Lauren vows revenge. How dare she give a bride a choice in what she wears on her special day!
