The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, July 17, 2020, features Christmas of 2016 when Gloria returns and proudly announces her plans to break up Kevin and Chloe, while Faith lays down the law to her parents about how things are going to be around here from now on.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Gloria (Judith Chapman) gets herself delivered to Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) and Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) in a box (this end up!). She takes one look at Chloe (Elizabeth Henrickson) – fresh out of the looney bin – and Bella – the immaculate conception (how fitting for the season) – and announces, nope! Nor for my precious baby boy!
Gloria may have a killed via face cream, but Chloe failed to do it by car – that means she is unforgivable. Also, Gloria may have exposed Michael to the ministrations of Terrible Tom (Roscoe Born), but she won’t have her Kevin playing stepdaddy to some stranger’s child. If her children don’t understand what’s good for them, Gloria will explain. And Chloe will fire back.
Faith Has a Request
Nick (Joshua Morrow) finally knows that Sharon (Sharon Case) kept his son from him for over a year. Nick may have Christian back, but he and Sharon aren’t exactly in a great place right now. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) isn’t happy with the tension, so she’s hightailed it to Grandma and Grandpa’s ranch.
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) can’t believe that Sharon and Nick would put their child in the middle of their battle like this. Don’t they know how emotionally damaging that could be? Yes, they both say this completely unironically.
Sharon and Nick agree that they both want Faith with them for the holidays, and try to get on the same page. But Faith beats them to the punch: She’ll be moving into the ranch. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
