The good folks of The Young and the Restless are bad at a lot of things. Love, marriage, friendship, honesty. But you know what they’re REALLY bad at? Getting creative with baby names. Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have two children, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow). Wow. A lot of thought went into those choices.

In addition, there’s also Victor’s son, Victor Jr. – who now goes by Adam (Mark Grossman), after his mom’s maiden name, Adams, and Victor’s daughter, Abby (Melissa Ordway), named after her mom’s maiden name, Abbott. You see what we mean.
Kay (Jeanne Cooper) has two namesakes, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who used to be Kate, and Katie, Victoria and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) little girl. Their son is named Johnny, after Billy’s dad, John. Who also had a son, John Jr, AKA Jack (Peter Bergman). And let’s not forget about Summer, named for her mother, Phyllis Summers. Enough is enough! Let’s get creative with Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe’s son-to-be’s moniker.
Names Kevin Might Hate
We know the baby is a boy, and we know they won’t be naming him either after Kevin’s dad, Terrible Tom, or Chloe’s dad, Tiny The Plumber. Both are unwieldy. And both were crappy dads.

They could name him after Kevin’s beloved brother, Michael (Christian J. Le Blanc), but we don’t need two of them on the canvas. They could also go with the most recent Genoa City death, in tribute. But that would have been Neil (Kristoff St. John). And neither Kevin nor Chloe was particularly close to him. Or even knew him well.
Names Chloe May Like
Let’s think outside the box! They could name the baby after Chloe’s mom. How does Valentine Fisher sound to you? They could call him Val. Or Edgar. That kind of sounds like Esther (Kate Linder), no?
Or they could choose to honor Cordelia, the daughter Chloe lost, and call the baby Cord. That’s a nice soapy name. (One Life to Live shoutout!) What do you think baby Fisher should be called?
