The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, May 13, 2020, spotlights a great rivalry in Sharon and Nikki. Who came to blows over a horse. Except, we – and they – know it’s not really over a horse.

Plus, Phyllis and Nick start a new chapter – with some old grudges, while Paul’s son looked sneaky and Paul’s daughter didn’t notice. The episode originally aired on June 15, 2012.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Victor (Eric Braeden) brought Sharon (Sharon Case) down to the stables to introduce her to the horse he bought for her. The horse was missing. Victor went off to manfully deal with the police. Sharon stayed behind. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) returned with the horse.

Sharon snarked about old nags. Nikki snarked about Sharon riding animals Nikki had already ridden. They threw a few more barbs back and forth about who was a natural beauty and who was a tramp. Then Nikki poured water on Sharon. Then Sharon dunked Nikki in a bucket. Then they wrestled in the hay. It was all very classy, mature, and a great role model for their kids and grandkids.

Victor manfully stepped in with the cops. Both women wanted the other arrested. The cop arrested them both. Victor asked Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc), the District Attorney) if he could fix this little problem for Victor. Uhm, no, Michael said.

Nick and Phyllis: Back Together

A newly-remarried Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) moved in together. They discussed Phyllis’ miscarriage and how her daughter-in-law, Daisy, heard Phyllis calling for help, but ignored her. Nick wondered if Michael, the District Attorney, could fix this little problem for them. Daniel, Phyllis’s son who married Daisy in order to hold onto his daughter, Lucy, also chimed in.

Who’s That?

That’s Paul’s son, Rickey. That’s Paul’s daughter, Heather. That’s Paul (Doug Davidson). Neither of them has been around for a while. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
