The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 19, 2021, winds down Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke’s wedding festivities with Sally Spectra persuing Adam Newman, Billy Abbott sneaking out on Lily Winters, Nicholas Newman whining to Victor Newman, and Phyllis Summers doing the same to Jack Abbott.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
The bride and groom have gone to bed, and so have the bride’s ex-husband and his new girlfriend. But, after their night of romance, Billy (Jason Thompson) has an idea: He gave Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) a duffle-bag of cash, and since he can’t run the story on Ashland (Richard Burgi) anymore, he’s determined to get his money some other way.
Billy wants to do a story on what a terrible person Jesse is. Lily wonders how he plans to do that without exposing Ashland and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Billy says he’ll think of something and, while Lily sleeps, sneaks out to get the job done. He wants to know what Victor did with Jesse. Victor responds with one of his famous threats.
Y&R Recap: Daddy Issues
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is angry that his Daddy ignored all the dirt he dug up on Ashland. Victor (Eric Braeden) turned to Adam (Mark Grossman) for help instead of Nick. And Nick doesn’t like that.
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is lamenting to Jack (Peter Bergman) that Nick’s family situation is somehow causing a rift between them. She leans on him quite a bit — maybe too much.
Adam Newman Ruins Everything
Sally (Courtney Hope) kisses Adam, and he responds enthusiastically…until he decides that Sally deserves better. He says he’s not emotionally ready for anything more than a one-night stand, and Sally doesn’t want that, does she?
Her evening isn’t a total loss, however. Leaving Adam’s room, Sally sees Phyllis cuddled up to Jack, post-whining. Sally snaps a photo of them looking very cozy. That might come in handy someday…soon.
