The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 24, 2020 watches as Nick explodes over Summer’s engagement, Billy demands answers from Chelsea, who turns around and demands some from Adam in return. Plus, Elena whines while Devon wallows in misty water-colored memories.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Nick (Joshua Morrow) loses his cool when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) reveals Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) are engaged. Phyllis tries to play peacemaker as she reminds Nick that he and Sharon (Sharon Case) got married when they were even younger than Summer – and that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) hated the idea, too.
This would be a good place for Nick to point out that what a disaster all of his marriages to Sharon were, and how maybe he should have listened to his parents. Instead, he just stomps off.
Hide and Seek
When Billy (Jason Thompson) can’t find Alyssa, he accuses Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) of knowing where Adam (Jason Thompson) stashed her. Chelsea flails that her precious Adam would never do such a thing, and big, bad Billy is just on a witchhunt!
However, when Adam gets home, Chelsea does ask whether he had anything to do with Alyssa’s disappearance. Adam says he has something to tell Chelsea about what he’s done…
But, guess what? Alyssa isn’t missing! She calls Billy to tell him she’s ready to run their story. Billy is pleased.
Remember When
While Devon (Bryton James) stands in the middle of his living room, stares into space, and remembers good times with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) in a slightly more earth-toned tint than when they originally happened, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) is blaming Nate (Sean Dominic) for encouraging Devon to share his memories of Hilary with Amanda. She apologizes eventually, but her insecurity is still on full display. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
