The Young and the Restless Recap: Nick Grovels For Another Chance

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, October 3 features Chelsea coming up with an exit strategy — even as Nick tries to convince her to stay. Plus, Devon reached out to Amanda, and Phyllis marshaled her forces.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Connor (Judah McCay) continued to pout over Adam (Mark Grossman) leaving town even though Victor (Eric Braeden) was still alive, prompting Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to think about a fresh start for them both.

She went to Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and asked him to help her launder the money Calvin left them. Kevin balked — he’s totally on the straight and narrow now! Chelsea offered him 10% of the take. Kevin got over his moral qualms.

He told Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) what he’s doing. She said she totes supports him. Great pair.

Meanwhile, Chelsea came home to see that Nick (Joshua Morrow) had set up a romantic dinner for them. He is really, really sorry…

Moving On

Devon (Bryton James) told Nick about the Amanda Sinclair situation. Nick told him to just stay away from her. Devon nodded and agrees that it’s good advice. Then, after Nick left, Devon calls Amanda for a meeting. Way to hold your ground, man!

The Young and the Restless Recap: Preparing For War

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) got all her ducks in a row in order to return to the top of Genoa City. She told Summer (Hunter King) that the Newmans will always see her as an outsider.

Summer said not to pit her against her dad’s family. Phyllis tried the same argument on Chelsea. Abby (Melissa Ordway) defended her family but did apologize to Summer and Chelsea. Abby wondered if Phyllis had heard from Adam. Phyllis said no.

Later, Phyllis asked Kevin the same thing, but he told her to leave Adam alone — he’s bad news. Like Devon, Phyllis took his advice… by calling Adam. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
