The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, May 6, 2021, checks in with ongoing stories like Victor using Michael as his personal mouthpiece, Summer still hating Sally, and Nate and Devon find common ground.
Michael (Christian Le Blanc) pushes Amanda (Karla Mosley) to convince Sutton to plead guilty. She can’t win this case, especially since Victor (Eric Braeden) won’t let her pin Richard’s murder on anyone at Newman Enterprises – especially himself. Amanda feels confident she can prevail. Victor stops by and imparts a few more threats. Amanda just shrugs.
Having made clear to Michael that he expects him to protect Newman Enterprises in Sutton’s case, Victor moves on to telling Michael he needs to investigate Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). It’s not because Victor wishes to grease the wheels of justice.
He is too upstanding a man to do such a thing. It’s just that, well, you know, poor Faith (Reylynn Caster). She needs a donor… and Adam (Mark Grossman) is a match. Michael gets it, right? Remember how he redeemed himself when he gave Danny a kidney? Totes same thing here. Now make it so!
Summer (Hunter King) takes a break from planning her wedding to Kyle (Michael Mealor) to make it clear to Jack (Peter Bergman) that even though she promised to call a truce with Sally (Courtney Hope), she absolutely will not have Jack bringing the scheming redhead as a date to her wedding. Jack wants to make Summer happy, doesn’t he?
Nate (Sean Dominic) and Devon (Bryton James) are finally able to get through their past woman issues to have a civilized conversation. They also discuss the planned tribute to Neil (Kristoff St. John).
Later, Victor pumps Devon for inside info on why Amanda is representing Sutton. Devon won’t bite. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
