The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, November 18, 2020, features Abby and Chance breaking big news to Jill and Nina, Phyllis and Nick at odds, Devon and Amanda at evens, and Adam getting a surprise visitor.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Nina (Tricia Cast) and Jill (Jess Walton) Zoom (Skype? Facetime?) into Chance’s (Donny Boaz) hospital room to hear that he and Abby (Melissa Ordway) are engaged. Both women are thrilled! Abby tells Chance she wants to get married in the Chancellor mansion, as a tie to his late grandmother, Kay (Jeanne Cooper).
Except there is this one little thing. She wasn’t Chance’s grandmother. Jill is his grandmother. Kay was the woman who killed Chance’s grandfather before he could marry Jill on his deathbed. But who’s counting?
Parenting Fail
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is still mad that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) didn’t tell him about Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) getting drunk. Phyllis is still mad that Nick is mad that she didn’t tell him about Faith getting drunk. They complain to friends and family and delete some texts to each other. But then both head out for a face to face meeting and all is well again. Phew!
Down Home
Phyllis teases Amanda (Mishael Morgan) about having a date with Devon (Bryton James). Amanda says they’re just friends having dinner. They decide to blow off plans for a fancy French dinner to just order in Chinese and chat.
Sign Off
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) wonders where Victor (Eric Braeden), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Nick were when someone attempted to shoot Adam (Mark Grossman). Victoria decides the family needs a clean break and heads over to Adam’s with papers to make it legal – exactly what Adam claims he wanted. Adam, who claims he doesn’t give a damn what Victor thinks, tells Victoria that he won’t sign her document until he knows what Victor thinks.
Meanwhile, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tries to stop Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) from going to see Adam. She fails. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
