Faith has been suffering from the moment she was born on The Young and the Restless. First, Adam (Mark Grossman) kidnapped Sharon’s (Sharon Case) newborn and passed her off as Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson). Then Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lid) parents kept breaking up, marrying other people, reuniting, and breaking up again. Yeah, this happened more than once.

The Young and the Restless Polling

Throw in Grandpa Victor (Eric Braeden) faking his death, Mom’s breast cancer battle, and Billy (Jason Thompson) publishing the details of Adam’s long-ago kidnapping of her, and Faith is in the perfect position to accept some chemical “pick me ups” from her new friend, Jordan. Is she heading down the path to addiction? Over 4,000 surrogate parents had their say:

Sisters To the Rescue

It was close, but a winning 52% of the audience feel confident that Faith won’t be able to get into trouble as long as her big sisters, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Summer (Hunter King), are on the case.

Mariah is already suspicious of slick, older girl Jordan (Madison Thompson), and Summer has taken time out from her own lunatic spiral to remind her baby sister that she’s got her back. With guardians like that, Faith is in good hands. And let’s not forget that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) now has her suspicions, too…

Teen Time

Faith was due for a combination of rebellion and breakdown, and this makes perfect sense, a slightly smaller 48% of you are sorry to say. She is that amazing combination of spoiled brat – thanks Grandpa Victor – and neglected child – thanks, Mom and Dad, who are too busy with their new main squeezes.

That’s a perfect recipe for a kid who thinks she can do anything she wants and is skilled at manipulating adults into believing her denials – because they want to believe the lies she’s telling. And don’t have the time to deal. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
