The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 1, 2020, kicks off a new month with Victor and Adam discussing old grievances, Nikki offering Chelsea some advice for the present, as Summer reminds Nick of a past promise, and Lola talks to Theo about their future.
Adam (Mark Grossman) tells Victor (Eric Braeden) what he remembers about the night he killed AJ. He heard Hope and Victor discussing how dangerous he was and how they can’t be sure he won’t kill again. Victor insists that wasn’t what they talked about at all. They were just worried about Adam processing the event. Victor insists to Adam that he isn’t bad. He’s Victor’s son. Everything connected with Victor is perfect.
Later, Sharon (Sharon Case) stops by to say that she’s taking Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) advice and recusing herself from working with Adam. She needs to focus on her own recovery. Adam agrees. He’s bad for everyone. It’s why he’s planning to leave Genoa City. Sharon changes her mind. She must help Adam!
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about Adam wanting to leave them all – for their own good. Nikki notes that absence doesn’t always make the heart grow fonder. Victor comes home to announce they mustn’t give up on Adam. You got that?
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) let Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) know that they’re moving in together. Summer wonders if they can have the land Nick offered them the last time they were married. Nick is unenthused, but, nonetheless, tells his daughter and her married boyfriend that they can have it.
Meanwhile, Lola (Sasha Calle) tells Theo (Tyler Johnson) she’s not sure about her feelings now that she’s about to be divorced and asks if she and Theo can take it slow – now that they’ve already slept together. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
