The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, November 19, 2021, sees Lily Winters discover what Billy Abbott has planned for both of them, while Abby Chancellor’s parents plan to search the world for her, and Phyllis Summers confides in Lauren Fenmore Baldwin.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Billy (Jason Thompson) made Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) an offer: Drop the lawsuit (and the personal vendetta) against Chance Comm, and Billy will step down, leaving only Lily (Christel Khalil) in charge.
Billy lamented to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that he gambled – and lost. Jack was startled at the word and pointed out that this is a problem Billy’s had in the past, but Billy didn’t want to hear about it.
Their conversation was cut short when a furious Lily stomped in, blasting Billy for making a decision that affected them both – without her input. And it’s not even going to help, you dummy! Lily is now stuck taking on the Newmans by herself!
Young and the Restless: Before and After
Ashley rushed to Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) house, where Victor and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) had private eyes out looking for the runaway mama. The men found evidence that Abby had been at a hotel on the edge of town which led them to conclude that Abby is on her way to Spain to find a still alive (she thinks) Chance. Ashley and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) decided to hop on a plane and follow her – after Ashley blasted Jack for admitting he still has feelings for Phyllis.
Y&R Recap: Right Back At You
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), after weeks of petting Jack on the head and telling him she only loved him as a friend, now that she and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) are broken up, suddenly decides that she needs Jack to come running and tell her how wonderful she is. (That’s not what she said, but it’s what she meant). Lauren (Tracey Bregman) advised her to proceed with caution.
