The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, February 15, 2021, features one step forward, two steps back in the Nate/Elena/Devon/Amanda… thing, while Kyle shakes in his boots, much to Summer’s confusion, and Phyllis vows to protect her baby girl from big, bad Sally.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Devon (Bryton James) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) had dinner, talked about their childhood traumas, including foster care for both, and deafness for Devon. He didn’t mention the time he fell into a lion’s cage, because that requires a lot of setup. Then, they went upstairs to have sex.
Nate (Sean Dominic) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) went out of town to have sex (was their usual spot, a clinic emergency room, booked?), and Elena accidentally called Nate by Devon’s name. Nate wondered if Elena ever still thought about Devon. Read the context clues, dude…
The Only Thing We Have To Fear
Kyle (Michael Mealor) was stammering and babbling as he confessed all to Summer (Hunter King) about the married woman he had an affair with four years ago. They should both be terrified of what her very mean husband might do to them in retaliation.
Well, maybe he didn’t tell all-all. He left out the part about the kid he and the married lady might have. Which left Summer confused about why Kyle was so scared. Because the husband is a very, very bad man, Kyle reiterated, all but ducking behind Summer’s protective skirts.
Meanwhile, as Jack (Peter Bergman) was telling Sally (Courtney Hope) how great she was for getting a promotion so soon after becoming Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) assistant, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was forgetting what she told Summer about having empathy for ambitious redheads, and vowing that if Sally hurt her precious wittle Summer, Phyllis would hurt Sally back.
So it looks like both Summer and Kyle need other people to fight their battles for them. Adulting! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
