The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 2 sees the entitlement spread throughout Genoa City, as Phyllis blows her stack after Nick suggests she might be looking for trouble, Summer demands to know why Kyle didn’t tell her about a trip he didn’t take, and Adam thinks he knows what’s best for Chelsea.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Nick (Joshua Morrow) is taken aback to see that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has broken into Sally’s (Courtney Hope) room, stolen her computer, and plans to share her search history with the world. Phyllis explains that she is the only one who can see clearly just what a threat the “redheaded psycho” (hm, projecting much?) is to Summer (Hunter King) and Jack (Peter Bergman).

When Nick points out that she’s gone from feuding with Abby (Melissa Ordway) to feuding with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to now, Sally, and maybe that she needs to be in a constant state of antagonism, Phyllis turns on the waterworks and whimpers about how hard she’s worked and how much she would love not to keep fighting these women… but they’re the ones making her.

Phyllis then goes running to Lauren to spill what she knows about Sally. Lauren is unimpressed.

Love Child

Meanwhile, Summer grills Kyle (Michael Mealor) about why he was headed for New York. It’s to see that woman he had an affair with, isn’t it? Kyle stammers a few pathetic denials, then looks at a photo of Tara’s son. When Sally catches him doing it, Kyle wants to know who she’s going to believe, him or her own eyes?

Isolation Ward

Adam (Mark Grossman) keeps Victor (Eric Braeden), Nick, and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) from having access to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), even as she keeps a running internal monologue about how she knows he kissed Sharon (Sharon Case) and vows to get out from under his thumb and be reunited with Connor (Judah Mackey).

Luckily, she has Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on her side, as she arranges to spend quality alone time with Chelsea and gets her to type “Sharon” on the phone. That is until Adam returns and they have to scuttle their mission…for now. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
