The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, February 12, 2020, proves — for those who still doubt it — that rich, white men can get away with anything. Plus, Nick learned of Summer and Phyllis’ plans for the future, while Billy and Amanda celebrated brighter days ahead.
The Young and the Restless Recap
Kyle (Michael Mealor) allowed Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to berate him for hurting Lola (Sasha Calle), even pretending to listen and accept his insults, because he knows that, in the end, there’s nothing Rey can do to him.
Kyle then went to see Lola. She had packed up Kyle’s things and they agree to a quick divorce. Lola won’t take Kyle for every penny she’s got coming. And he agreed not to take any blame for the situation.
Hey, the heart wants what the heart wants. Turns out he was still madly in love with Summer (Hunter King) — who knew? And now that he’s realized that, Kyle’s heart should have whatever it wants, no matter what it costs somebody else. Lola cried. Kyle went to meet up with his new girlfriend.
Phyllis: Can’t Stop Me Now
Nick (Joshua Morrow) tried to caution Summer against leaping back into the disaster that is Kyle, but she assured him she has her eyes wide open and can handle anything that might come up.
Nick tried to caution Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) against leaping into the disaster that is her following Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chance (Danny Boaz) to Las Vegas, but she assured him she has her eyes wide open and can handle anything that might come up.
Leftovers
Phyllis tried to caution Billy (Jason Thompson) against leaping into the disaster that is him… being himself. He assured her he has his eyes wide open and can handle anything that might come up.
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) continued to cheer him on, even as she got rid of Ripley. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
