The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, April 29, 2020, spotlight a classic rerun from July 6, 2004, as Katherine continued her argument about drinking with a pair of ghosts, while Phyllis blamed Christine for her actions, and Nick tried to save Sharon from the consequences of hers.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Kay (Jeanne Cooper) refused to give up drinking so, one by one, Brock, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Gina (Patty Weaver), Jill (Jess Walton), Liz, Lauren (Tracey Bergman), Esther (Kate Linder), and Mackenzie walked out on her. She yelled in their wake. She didn’t need them, anyway. They never loved her! Go! Get lost!
Later that night, the ghosts came: Most recent husband, Rex, in white pajamas. Ex-husband Phillip… pretty chill considering she killed him and kept him from being with Jill. And also Phillip, who we learned, years later, wasn’t really dead. Maybe he was astral projecting. They didn’t want Kay to keep drinking, either. OK, she’ll stop.
Phyllis: Watch Your Back
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was on the warpath. First, she told her son, Daniel, that Danny (Michael Damian) wasn’t his father. Phyllis lied to Danny about it and, when he found out the truth, he insisted on loving Daniel anyway – while cutting Phyllis out of his life. The bum! Daniel had some choice words for the man who dared raise him!

And Phyllis had choice words for Christine (Lauralee Bell), the woman who also knew the truth, but declined from sticking her nose into the Romalotti family’s business… for a change. She better not do that again, if Chris knows what’s good for her!
Stay Away From Sharon
Nick (Joshua Morrow) warns Cameron (Linden Ashby) away from Sharon (Sharon Case). Until Cameron makes it clear how well he knows Sharon. Meanwhile, Grace wouldn’t let Sharon poison her mind against Cameron. She loves him!
Keep Away
Lily (Christel Khalil) was mad that Dru (Victoria Rowell) warned Devon (Bryton James) away from her. Dru wasn’t sorry. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
