The Young and the Restless recap for November 30, 2021 races into December with Jill Foster taking Billy Abbott out of the equation, while Abby Chancellor takes matters into her own hands, and Victor Newman keeps insisting he has everything under control.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Billy (Jason Thompson) thought he had the perfect solution to the mess he made with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). He’d step down from Chance Comm, and let Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) run the show. But Lily wasn’t ready to get with the program, so she called Jill (Jess Walton) for reinforcements.
Jill blew into town, chastised her son, and got the update that Ashland and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) offered to buy the company – and keep Lily on board. Jill shooed Billy out of the room so she could speak privately with Lily.
Billy slunk off, where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) assured him that even screw-ups deserve love. For the record, he didn’t ask. Jill tells Lily she’s stepping down from Chancellor Industries. And she wants Lily to take her place.
Y&R Recap: Loose Lips
Abby (Melissa Ordway) called Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and filled her in on Chance (Conner Floyd) being alive. Chance was furious, and scared that his wife had jeopardized his mission!
Young and the Restless: The Long Game
Victor had just heard from Ashley that she was on her way to Abby, when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) stomped in, sputtering that he found Ashland and Victoria had made an offer to buy Chance Comm.
Instead of joining Adam in his fuming, Victor compliments his daughter’s business acumen. (See, Adam, Daddy will never, ever love you best, no matter what.) He is, however, worried that Victoria might have done it in order to shelter Billy Boy. In that case, Victor tells Adam not to worry. Daddy is still multiple steps ahead of his youngins.
