The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 10 is a classic episode from March 1993, where Victor proves that he was the same man 27 years ago as he is today, Neil and Dru enjoy their honeymoon in the real great outdoors, and Jill announces the arrival of the baby who would be Billy!
Victor (Eric Braeden) explains it slowly to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott): He’s been a good boy for months, waiting for Nikki to hurry up and give birth to her and Jack’s (Peter Bergman) child, so she can get back into shape, leave her husband, and return to Victor. It’s what she wants, after all!
Wasn’t it lucky that the baby was still-born? No rug-rat to pull focus from Nikki’s children with Victor. And she can come back to him all the sooner!
When Nikki hesitates, explaining that she loves Jack, that he makes her feel safe and content and drama-free, Victor asks whether she’s given any thought to how upset her not leaving Jack will make him? Has the woman no heart? She is making Victor mildly inconvenienced! Surely, breaking Jack’s heart is less important than that!
Jill (Jess Walton) is pregnant! She is sure John (Jerry Douglas) will be so happy! So what if he went ahead and had a vasectomy specifically because he didn’t want to raise another child? She’s sure he’ll get over that, lickety-split.
And for those who enjoy Fun With SORAS, you know that family picture that was shown before Victor began talking? The little blond boy was Nicholas, and the teenage girl was Victoria. Yes. Victoria was a teenager. Before Billy was even born.
Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Dru (Victoria Rowell) frolic in the sand and surf during their honeymoon. And talk on a very large cellphone. Also, Brad (Don Diamont) has something to do with remodeling Neil’s apartment. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
