The Young and the Restless Recap: Jack and Ashland Each Remember the Past

The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 14, 2021, proves that either Ashland Locke is pulling the biggest con of all time, or that Victoria Newman has outsmarted her father, brother, and ex-husband. Meanwhile, Nick Newman’s request for advice sends Jack Abbott into a tailspin, and Mariah Copeland can’t believe Tessa Porter betrayed her trust.

Ashland (Richard Burgi) finally tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about his top-secret past. And, in an incredible coincidence, it sounds an awful lot like Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden). Sad childhood, blah, blah, blah, terrible parents, blah, blah, blah, changed his name so he could be his own man, blah, blah, blah, big success, yay, me! Could there be a hotter story for a Daddy’s girl like Victoria?

She calls Victor, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) so Ashland can fill them in, and now nobody will have an exclusive – or a reason to keep competing. Oh, and Victoria expects them to keep it all quiet – if they truly care about her. Game, set, match!

Y&R Recap: Long Lost Love

Nick asks Jack’s (Peter Bergman) advice on him and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Jack notes that Nick doesn’t immediately say that he loves Phyllis – just that he’s crazy about her. Jack convinces Nick not to look a gift Phyllis in the mouth and to just enjoy his relationship. Then he goes home and remembers how he proposed to Phyllis – when they both looked like babies!

Young and Restless: Whose Baby Is It, Anyway

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is hurt that Tessa (Cair Fairbanks) told Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) that she was struggling. Abby is hurt that she can’t do anything to help Mariah. Abby and Mariah are hurt that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) can settle down Dominic when they couldn’t.
