The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, February 2, 2021, features a perfect Groundhog Day episode, as Sharon, Nick, and Nikki have a familiar conversation about Faith, Victoria and Billy find themselves back where they started, and Abby relives her own tragedy.
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) confronted Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) about the vodka bottle cap they found, and Sharon leaped straight to therapy. Nick wasn’t as aggressive about it, and Faith unloaded to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about how her parents were totally the worst, they have no idea how Faith’s life is more pressured than any other teen currently living, and why doesn’t everybody just lay off and let her do her thing!
Nikki actually agreed with Sharon that Faith should speak to a professional, but Sharon also took matters into her own hands and told Jordan to stay away from Sharon’s baby girl. Faith overheard and flipped out on her mom.
Billy (Jason Thompson) thought he and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) were in a good co-parenting place, but then she did a 180 and commenced laying down all sorts of new visitation rules. This happened roughly around the time Lily (Christel Khalil) was due back from her business trip. Billy claims he doesn’t know what happened. Lily looks like she does. Though she plays it cryptically. He needs to figure this one out on his own.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) broke down and told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that she’d be postponing the surrogacy now that it looks like Chance (Donny Boaz) can’t contribute either. She came home to find her husband gone.
Likely connected to the mystery phone call he got yesterday, but Abby doesn’t know that. Is he really leaving her to think he left because they can’t have a biological child? What a jerk! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
