The Young and the Restless Recap: Faith Makes a Discovery

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, January 15 find Sharon revealing her secret to Rey… as Faith did the same to Nick. Plus, Kyle and Lola had another fight about Theo, and all of Genoa City rallied to make sure Connor is happy.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Unlike most soap opera heroines, Sharon (Sharon Case) didn’t decide to hide her breast cancer diagnosis from Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) in order to “protect” him. She told him everything and he sweetly promised to stand by her.

Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) arrived and picked up on some scary vibes, but the adults assured her everything was fine. But Faith is a Newman. She wants what she wants when she wants it. Faith went snooping and later, heartbroken, spilled the beans about Sharon’s illness to Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Lola and Kyle: Hitting the Quad

Lola (Sasha Calle) was surprised to learn that the woman with Theo (Tyler Johnson) whom she assumed was a date is actually a business lunch. Kyle (Michael Mealor) took this as another opportunity to lecture his wife about how she needs to take off her rose-colored glasses where Theo is concerned. Meanwhile, Theo accused Summer (Hunter King) of wishing the fight were about her.

Connor: Team Effort

Connor (Judah Mackey) was upset about Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) working at The Grand Phoenix, where the family was held hostage. So off they, along with Adam (Mark Grossman), tromped to make sure Connor is comfortable.

Abby (Melissa Ordway), who, earlier, snarked to Chelsea about dumping Nick, agreed nothing is more important than Connor. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who is trying to pump Chance (Danny Boaz) for details about his past association with Adam, took a break to confirm that Connor is the center of the universe.

Even Chance gave the boy a pep talk about how secret agents get scared, too. Connor gave Chelsea permission to return to work. Huzzah! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
