The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, January 15, 2020, features Abe receiving startling news, red alarms rising for Rafe, and two baddies deciding murder is the only way to go.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) and SteVano (Stephen Nichols) met up at the station to gripe about their lives. She has to pretend to be the perfect commissioner and he had to wear the patch full time. They also discussed John and Marlena.
The battle to break up the happy couple wasn’t working and they needed to change direction. They won’t win their hearts so they may as well destroy them instead. It was agreed John and Marlena must die.
Gabi: One Too Many Lies
Meanwhile, Eli (Lamon Archey) was on cloud nine over his engagement. He even woke up early and ran out to grab his woman a ring. Unfortunately, his good times were interrupted by Abe (James Reynolds).
He had a few choice words for Eli, but Eli gave it right back. In fact, Eli turned the tables and told Abe all of Lani’s recent secrets, including living in a convent and trying to destroy Gabi Chic!

As for Lani, she panicked when JJ vowed revenge on Gabi. She tried to talk him into laying low but he wasn’t having it. He rushed over the DiMera mansion to confront the baddie.
A Close Call
Later, Eli made his way home to find Rafe (Galen Gering) visiting his sister. The hot cop was there to see Chad (who wasn’t home) and visit his sister. In a bit of a twist, Rafe got a good peek at the pacemaker app but had no idea what he was seeing. By the time he was ready to ask questions, Eli came in and spilled everything became about the engagement.
Speaking of the pacemaker app, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) had a check-up with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). She wanted to be extra careful in light of Victor’s stroke. It was lucky she came in because Kayla saw something way off on the monitor.
A Curious Find
Later, Rafe went to the station to check in and was baffled to smell smoke in Hope’s office. He was even more confused when he found cigarettes in her desk drawer. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
