The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 30 features Adam and Victor come face to face, Katherine’s will read — and a new billionaire crowned — and Chelsea going Mama Bear on Nick.
In a storyline that continued going nowhere fast, Victor’s (Eric Breaden) intricated a plot to make Adam (Mark Grossman) admit he changed his medication came to an end as Victor calmly sat there and let Adam realize his father hadn’t been murdered.
They rehashed who was a terrible father, who was a terrible son, who didn’t get enough love, who didn’t get enough respect.
Adam admitted he did switch out the pills. Victor urged Adam to stay in Genoa City for Connor (Judah McKay), but Adam was afraid he isn’t good enough for his precious boy. There was crying and apologizing and then Adam didn’t seem to be there anymore.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) didn’t believe that Adam tried to kill Victor, and pointed out that Nick (Joshua Morrow) had forgiven Victor for many, many, many horrible things. Nick insisted Adam can never reform.
Chelsea countered that Connor is very upset about his dad’s leaving and his grandfather’s death. Nick folded and admits that Victor is still alive. Chelsea was furious her baby boy had to suffer for nothing.
Devon (Bryton James) hired Brittany (Lauren Woodland) to deal with Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and her claims that Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) will was tampered with. Jill (Jess Walton) told Cane (Daniel Goddard) about it.
Nate (Sean Dominic) confronts Amanda for looking so much like Hilary (also, coincidentally, Mishael Morgan). The interested parties got together and Amanda reveals the will Chance left her. In it, Kay appears to leave half her fortune to… Cane. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
