The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, December 16, 2019, features a day of relationship repair, as Billy reconnected with Victoria, Devon tried to reassure Amanda, Summer pushed Kyle and Lola together, and Amanda revealed a tiny tidbit about her past.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) worked late. She urged him to go home and when he declined, Summer video-called Lola (Sasha Calle). Lola was chatting with Theo (Tyler Johnson), talking about the Jabois he’s designing.
Summer urged Lola to go home early and meet her husband, but Lola begged off — she’s too busy. Summer apologized to Kyle for sticking her nose into his relationship, but Kyle assured he’s exactly where he wants to be.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) told Nate (Sean Dominic) she wants to be friends, and he agreed. Later, Nate urged Elena (Brytni Sarpy) to take care of herself and not work too hard.
Elena just came from Devon (Bryton James) apologizing about pushing her away. He promised to do better and not obsess so much about Amanda (Mishael Morgan).
After Elena left, Devon did more digging on Amanda, learning that she and a fiance have restraining orders out against each other. He asked Abby if Amanda was still living at the Grand Phoenix.
At the same time, Amanda was telling Billy (Jason Thompson) that she is an orphan who doesn’t let people get too close. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called and he didn’t tell her where he was but did tell her to go home, where he left her a surprise.
Billy refrained from joining a poker game and feels good about himself. He joined Victoria at home for a romantic evening, where she cooed about having finally found the real him. Billy made a face. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
