The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 7, 2021, is a whirlwind – Devon Hamilton gives advice tour – as he travels from place to place like a profound Johnny Appleseed. In the meantime, Adam spreads anger wherever he goes.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) doesn’t want Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) asking polite questions about his stepdaughter’s health, because Rey knows Adam is really asking about Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Rey advises Adam to worry more about Connor (Judah Mackey) and how he’ll share him when Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) comes back to Genoa City.
Next, Adam asks Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) directly how she is, which prompts Mariah to snap that she’s just been held prisoner by a kidnapper obsessed with winning a married woman’s love – and she doesn’t feel like chatting with another guy who matches that profile. Sharon tells Rey about the blowup, and he shares that he warned Adam to stay away from Sharon – so Adam went running to Sharon?
Young and Restless Recap: DeWisdom
Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is desperate to track down Chance and let him know that their son has been born. Devon (Bryton James) stops by the house to point out that Chance is working undercover and learning about Dominic might distract him and make it harder for him to come home soon. Abby thanks Devon for his advice.

Next, Devon goes to the park where he tells Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) that he talked to his mother, Sophia, about letting Moses stay in Genoa City and intern for him. But it’s up to Moses to convince Sophia.
Moses thanks Devon for his advice. Later, he and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) role-play his calling Sophia and telling his mom about this girl he’s met. Which isn’t at all strange or awkward.
Y&R Recap: Last Call
Finally, Devon runs into Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and offers her a shoulder to cry on, should she need it. Mariah says, nah, she’s good. Then she thanks Devon for his advice. She then stops by Abby’s, where she wonders if Bowie missed her. She missed him so much. Abby is perturbed.
