The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, October 14 features Delia’s parents, as well as others who loved her, marking the anniversary of her death, while Jack and Traci learned yet another thing about their mother, Chelsea worried about Connor, and Victor revealed what he knows.
It’s the anniversary of Delia’s death, and Billy (Jason Thompson) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) agreed to honor her by continuing to live their lives. Chloe told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) she’s happy a part of Delia lives on in the corneas she donated to Connor. Delia’s loved ones gathered in the park to remember the little girl who loved people.
Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) called Billy to tell him they need to discuss the night Billy tried to kill Victor’s son.
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) discussed how they’d present their parents in the book they’re writing when Dina (Marla Adams) mentioned a Stuart that she once… had something with.
Because soap opera law means only one name per person (though YR did once accidentally end up with two Michaels on the canvas), Traci naturally presumed that Dina’s Stuart must be Stuart Brooks. She vowed to get to the bottom of what went on between her mother and the Brooks’ sisters’ dad.
Connor (Judah Mackey) refused to go to school, and Chelsea and Nick (Joshua Morrow) called Sharon (Sharon Case) for help. Sharon blew off Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), who wanted to give their relationship another chance and headed to Nick’s.
There, she and Connor discussed Adam (Mark Grossman), and Sharon insisted his dad still loves him. Connor called his mother a liar. After Sharon left, Chelsea told Nick that she saw Adam in their son’s eyes (not Delia’s corneas?). They hear a crash, followed by Connor screaming. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
