The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 12, 2020 picks up the tale of Adam’s childhood crime, Nick and Phyllis’ umpteenth reunion, Abby refusing to give in, and Amanda realizing the obvious.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Adam (Mark Grossman) is convinced that Victor (Eric Braeden) is lying about Adam having killed a loan shark when he was 11. Victor tells Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that George the farmhand was there and saw it all go down, too. Chelsea brings the info back to Adam, who invites George to Genoa City. If Adam doesn’t believe Victor, why would he believe somebody Victor recommended? Victor claims he never wanted to hurt Adam. As always, he was protecting his son.
Back Together And It Feels So… Familiar
Summer (Hunter King) is tired of objecting to Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) getting back together. She just wants her mom to be happy.
Nick is tired of the feud between Phyllis and Abby (Melissa Ordway). Abby won’t trade her hotel for a building of Nick’s. She thinks it will just reward Phyllis for bad behavior.
Phyllis tells Nick about planting dinosaur bones on the site. She and Nick have sex. Abby and Chance (Danny Boaz) have sex. Construction stops on Abby’s hotel.
They Still Live In Genoa City, Too
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) tells Nate (Sean Dominic) he’s great. Devon (Bryton James) tells Elena (Brytni Sarpy) she’s great. Elena tells Devon: Right back at you. They enjoy discussing how great their lives are until Nate calls and asks Elena to help him at the clinic.
There, they discuss how great they are. Nate tells Elena to go back to her date. Guess it wasn’t a medical emergency, after all. Amanda comes by and tells Nate that Phyllis told her there is more to life than work. They are great. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
